This work of Satan should already be clear to see but here we will look at some more pertinent examples. Just before we do so, let us look at some verses where Satan through modern versions flatly contradicts the Word of God.


Isaiah 5 v 20: Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

v21: Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

(What the NIV states here is the opposite to what Jesus tells us in Luke 17v 20-21. But the above statement ....

Isaiah 45 v 5a: I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me


1Timothy 3 v 16b: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.


Isaiah 9 v 6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.(1 John 5v7, Colossians 2v9)


Hidden within the pages of scripture, corrupt modern versions teach that our Lord Jesus Christ is only, a god, a son of man, a created god, contradicting the Word of God: this blasphemous work of Satan is far from subtle. The ultimate blasphemy of Satan is seen as he (Satan) removes his name and replaces it with one of the names of our Lord Jesus Christ.    


As way of introduction to these blasphemies we will first have a brief look at the thought patterns of the NIV editors / translators recorded for us in their corrupted version. This reveals, along with dozens of other verses, why they used 2 corrupt manuscripts - Vaticanus and Sinaiticus - from the Vatican / the Church of Roman (the Great Whore of Revelation 17 and 18) as the basis for their translation: and why at the same time they ignored 1000’s of Greek, Byzantine, Old Latin etc. manuscripts which are the Word of God which is the King James Bible.  


KING JAMES BIBLE: Acts 17 v 22 - 23



Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.



Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: "Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you.


As you look carefully at what the editors / translators of the modern version have written it becomes clear that they approve of the pagan worship of the Athenians as being ‘a way’ to God - ‘in every way you are very religious’: they falsely claim that the apostle Paul went ‘around’ ‘carefully’ looking at their religion and then proclaimed to them ‘AN UNKNOWN GOD’ (one of many) not THE. The sense they give in their corrupted handling of God’s Holy Word is that the apostle Paul approved of the Athenians and helped them along the way. This could not be further from the truth; Paul states categorically that their works are that of the Devil: ‘superstitious’ speaks of the fear of Satan in witchcraft. The apostle Paul only ‘passed by’ which was sufficient to expose their rank idolatry and ‘ignorance’ as he preached repentance toward God, THE ONLY LIVING ALMIGHTY GOD  in verse 30.

(The confession of Judas that Jesus is the Christ of God and no other is removed in one word in modern versions. There is only one blood which is perfect and able to wash away our sins, the blood of God.

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

The Word of God proclaims that our Lord Jesus Christ is God - ‘from everlasting’


The corrupt NIV blasphemes our Lord Jesus Christ stating that He has origins (in other words he had a beginning / was created) this is followed by the words from ancient times  (in other words ‘old’ but not everlasting, having a time limit) - therefore in other words ‘a son of the gods’ as in their corrupted Daniel 3 v 25: It is no wonder that the Jehovah Witnesses are deceived by Satan into believing that The Lord Jesus Christ is a created being / angel, for corrupt versions promote this, contradicting the Word of God. 






Revelation: 22:16: I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

 O Lucifer, son of the morning! ... Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell.


Isaiah 14 v 12...15


How you have fallen from heaven

 O morning star, son of the dawn... but you are brought down to the grave.




A study of the original Hebrew will counter any lies of Satan that ‘morning star’ can be inserted in place of the name ‘Lucifer’. The Hebrew is “helel, ben shachar” which is accurately translated, “Lucifer, son of the morning.” The NIV gives an English translation as if the Hebrew said “shachar Kokab, ben shachar” or “morning star, son of the morning (or dawn)”. Yet the word for star (kokab) appears nowhere in the text. Also ‘morning (or dawn)’ appears only once, as the KJB shows, not twice as the NIV inserts. Satan’s name ‘helel’ correctly translated ‘Lucifer’ appears only once in the Old Testament - this being his name before he fell.


In certain bible commentaries , bible dictionaries and Hebrew lexicons the Devil has been busy covering his tracts; to make the extracting of his name and the insertion of our Lord Jesus Christ sound plausible - do not be deceived.


**The name ‘Satan’ is also removed in modern versions in Psalm 109 v 6


Note 1: As we saw earlier, the word ‘hell’ in Isaiah 14 is changed to ‘grave’ - everyone knows where Satan will be cast down to.


Note 2: Our Lord’s name ‘day star’ (2 Peter 1v 19) or ‘bright and morning star’ or a combination of these words are used in other modern versions. Satan has blasphemed the Name of God in these corrupted modern versions.


Note 3: A number of other Words in Isaiah 14 have been deleted e.g. ‘the golden city’ v 4. These words are replaced with the words ‘his fury’ in the NIV, taken from the corrupted Septuagint and Dead Sea scrolls. A footnote in the NIV states they have done so because they did not understand the Hebrew words of the Masoretic Text (the uncorrupted original Words of God in Hebrew).


Satan has removed these words along with his name Lucifer because they speak of his destruction and the destruction of his great capital of evil - Babylon, Revelation 18 +19v 1-3, Isaiah 14v 22-23, Isaiah 13v 19-22, Isaiah 34v 8-17, Revelation14v 8, Revelation 17v 15-18 etc.


Isaiah:14:3: And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,

Isa:14:4: That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased!  the golden city ceased!


The context of Isaiah 14 is our Lord’s 1000 years Reign after the battle of Armageddon (shown in Isaiah 13) when all Israel is saved and restored (14 v 1-3) and Satan is cast into the bottomless pit (v 4-19), hence this proverb against Satan when ‘the whole earth is at rest’ and ‘breaks forth into singing’ v 7.


The NIV translators who did not understand the Words ‘the golden city’ (as with many other Words of God), prove by their own words, that they did not know God’s Word, neither do they know God, for had they known God they would not have dared to delete 1000’s of God inspired Words and secondly add 100’s of corrupted words. Having replaced the Devil’s name with God’s they have sealed their doom.


Revelation:22:18: For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Re:22:19: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book







Mark 3 v 5: And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.


Matthew 23 v 14: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

Satan needs only to remove 3 Words spoken by our Lord Jesus, or cast doubt on them, to accuse our Lord Jesus and God’s people of sin; and accuse God’s Word of contradicting itself:   


Titus 1 v 13: This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;


1Timothy 5 v 20: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.







Luke 17 v 36 - 37:



NIV etc.


Luke17v35: Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

v 36: Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

v 37: And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.




Luke17v35: Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."

v37"Where, Lord?" they asked.
      He replied, "Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather."



In Luke 17 v 24 - 37 our Lord Jesus is speaking about His second coming - Matthew 25 v 1 - 13. The apostle Paul speaks of this in 1Thessalonians 4 v 13 to chapter 5 v 10: ‘the body’ therefore speaks of our Lord Jesus Christ; ‘the eagles’ speak of God’s people raptured:


Isaiah 40 v 31: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.


The NIV removes the Word ‘the body’ and replaces it with the words ‘a dead body’   thus blaspheming our Lord Jesus Christ. The NIV then proceeds on to insult the people of God by changing the Word ‘eagles’ to ‘vultures’, in other words ‘those who eat dead meat’. There could be no greater insult cast against God and His body (the true church of our Lord Jesus Christ - Ephesians 5 v 30, 1 Corinthians 12 v 27) than this. Hence the work of Satan is exposed in blaspheming our Lord’s second coming / rapture.


Note: If 2 words Satan has added are placed together in order you can see what Satan thinks of God’s people ‘dead vultures’.


2Corinthians 2 v 15 - 16: For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?


Further reference to God’s work and His people ‘as eagles’ 

 -  Psalm 103 v 5, Revelation 12 v 14 (Exodus 19 v 4, Jeremiah 49 v 20-22, Jeremiah 48 v 40) (Ezekiel 10 v 14, Revelation 4 v 7).


Final Note: In Matthew 24 v 28  our Lord Jesus is speaking to the foolish virgins left behind at the Rapture (Matthew 25 v 1 - 13) who will need to come out of the false church (Satan’s counterfeit of the body of Christ on earth) to escape her Judgement and be made wise - Revelation 18 v 4 (To understand this in more detail read the section ‘The wise and foolish virgins’ and the section on ‘Antichrist’)

Revelation 2 v 20b-23: thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.


(The Great Whore puts up a false religious front with pretence of righteousness to deceive God’s people, but behind closed doors she practises wickedness. Many of her workers have infiltrated and polluted God’s people)


Revelation 2 v 14b-16: thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.


KING JAMES BIBLE: Matthew 19 v 9

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.





I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery."


(Note: the NIV removes 12 Words and adds 2 words which are not found in the Greek text, ‘marital unfaithfulness’ - this is NOT ‘fornication’ as you will see)


These Words which our Lord Jesus spoke are rendered Word for Word from the original Greek in the King James Bible; as are all the Hebrew and Greek Words of God’s Holy Word. God has preserved His Words perfectly as He said He would - through the transmission of faithful manuscripts by His elect.


Satan has altered this verse as well as other verses on marriage (which we will look at shortly) to teach and seduce God’s people to commit fornication and adultery. One lie of Satan which is common in the church today is that the ‘innocent person’ in a marriage break-up can marry again. This is contrary to the Word of God and to do so is to commit adultery.


The Word ‘Fornication’ means sexual intercourse on the part of a person UNMARRIED- in God’s sight- which the Word of God condemns (note: the word ‘marriage’ is often used by the world and by the church as a cover for what is in fact continued fornication or adultery). What is spoken by The Lord Jesus Christ in v 9 means that the only time a person can and needs to divorce is when the person they have married is not a virgin (or a widower / widow who was a virgin at first marriage and has remained faithful), hence why Joseph had in mind to put away Mary. The reason why divorce is necessary in this situation and only in this situation is because God has said only VIRGINS or widowers / widows who were virgins at their first marriage and who have been faithful can marry - Deuteronomy 22v 13-29, Leviticus 21v 7- 9, 13-15, Ezekiel 44v 22-23, 1Corinthians 7v 39, Romans 7v 1-3 etc.; any thing apart from this is fornication or adultery.


To divorce and remarry was allowed in the Old Testament - but not for sexual sin (death by stoning or fire was the penalty). Divorce and remarriage is NOT permitted by our Lord Jesus in the New Testament, only separation (1 Corinthians 7v 10-11).


Mark:10:11: And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

M'r:10:12: And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. (Read also Luke 16 v 18)


There are NO exceptions to this, do not be deceived by Satan. I have written about this in great detail, exposing the Devil’s many lies in section ‘Beware people of God’.


The penalty for continuing to disobey God’s commandments is the Lake of Fire:


Matthew:5:17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

M't:5:18: For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

NOTE: Anyone who is not sexually pure in accordance with the Word of God must separate. To fail to do so will end you in the Lake of Fire.




Matthew:5:27: Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

M't:5:28: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.




Fornication:  Anyone who is not married or anyone who was not a VIRGIN when they first ‘married’ (false marriage in God’s sight), and is having sexual intercourse is committing Fornication.


Adultery: After the marriage of 2 virgins or faithful widowers /widows which alone is permitted by God, any divorce and remarriage is Adultery.


Many people who think they are married today (having been married in church/the great whore) are NOT married in God’s sight but are committing FORNICATION.


NOTE: 2 virgins who have had sexual intercourse before marriage but then marry each other is permitted by God in repentance, as long as they have had no sexual intercourse with anyone else in between- Deuteronomy 22v 28-29.


The Word  Fornication’ has been deleted over 21 times from the NIV, NASB, GNB etc., and vague words like immoral / immorality / sexual immorality, (or no word at all - e.g. Romans 1 v 29), have been put in its place. Satan has deceived the church of Jesus Christ to commit Fornication and Adultery but many are guilty of gladly drinking from the wine of his Lusts. Thus the church has become an abomination to God and part of the Great Whore of Revelation 17 and 18.  


Matthew:7:13: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

M't:7:14: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

M't:7:15: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.




1Corinthians 7 v 10-11: And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.


1Corinthians 7 v 25-28: Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful. I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be. Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.


(Note: concerning marriage for women in the New Testament, the apostle Paul uses the word ‘virgin’ or ‘wife’(there is no half way house of sin), so like wise is the rule for men, whom Paul speaks to as ‘thou’ in the passage above.)


KING JAMES BIBLE: 1Corinthians 7v 27

NIV etc.

Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife

Are you married? Do not seek a divorce. Are you unmarried? Do not look for a wife.


First of all the NIV replaces the Word ‘loosed’ with ‘divorce’. The word ‘loosed’ is never used in God’s Holy Word to speak of ‘divorce’, the words ‘put away’ are used when speaking of divorce or the word ‘divorce’(divorced or divorcement) - Matthew 5 v 31-32, Matthew 19 v 3,7,8 and 9, Mark 10 v 2,4,11 and 12, Luke 16 v 18,1 Corinthians 7 v 11. In God’s Word in the context of marriage the word ‘loosed’ is used to speaks of 2 things only: 1). separation in death from one’s husband or wife - Romans 7v 2, or 2). separation as regarding departing and reconciling - 1Corinthians 7v 10-11.


It is impossible for the apostle Paul to have used the word ‘divorce’ here for one very clear reason: he would have contradicted all New Testament teaching regarding marriage (except for fornication- which he is not speaking of) to have done so (including what he had just spoken of from ‘the Lord’ in 1Corinthians 7 v 10-11). It is impossible for God’s people who are married in accordance with scripture to divorce or even contemplate it - separation being the only possibility.  


Secondly the NIV does not repeat the word ‘divorce’ in part (b) but changes it to ‘unmarried’ lest the devil trip himself up in the very verse he is altering. The apostle is not speaking to someone who has never been married as one is led to believe by the NIV but to a widower (a man who’s wife has gone to be with The Lord). The NIV’s statement would also be untrue and offensive to a widower who has just lost his wife.


THE DANGER in the NIV using the word ‘divorce’ is that Satan is able, after having altered Matthew 19 v 9, to plant into the minds of God’s people the possibility of divorce in circumstances other than those of which the apostle Paul is speaking of in 1Corinthians 7v 26. The following 2 verses corrupted by the NIV in the same chapter will highlight this more clearly:

NIV etc.

But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.

                1Corinthians 7 v 39



The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.




A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord.



The Devil removes the Words ‘by the law’ while at the same time using the exact same word ‘bound’ from v 39 in verse 15. This gives someone reading the NIV the impression that if an unbeliever departs from a believer in marriage they would be free to marry again and this in turn leads on to further speculation. The truth could not be further from this. The words ‘under bondage’ do not speak of legitimate divorce and then remarriage (which is impossible in the New Testament and will end in damnation) but clearly speaks of being able to depart, of which the apostle Paul has just spoken (1Corinthians 7 v 10-11), hence contradicting nothing in the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospels.  


When all 4 verses we have looked at are put together - Matthew 19v9, 1Corinthians 7 v 15, 27 and 39 (and there are another 22 alterations of which I know of in the NIV). Satan has sufficiently altered and undermined the Word of God in modern versions to destroy the unsuspecting people of God who read corrupted modern versions or who listen to it being preached. Many who do Satan’s work in teaching God’s people to sin e.g. Pastors marrying people who should not be married etc., will receive ‘the greater damnation’ unless they Repent seeking at all costs to put right the damage they have done.







PRIDE the chief work of Satan is promoted in the NIV along with (self) respect and self-control: 


Proverbs 8 v 13: The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.


Mark 7 v 20- 22: And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

Galatians 6 v 4:

But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.


Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else,


James 1 v 9:

Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:



The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position.

2 Corinthians 5 v 12a:

For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf



We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us


Proverb 16 v 18: Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.


Isaiah 28v3:The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim shall be trodden underfeet


James 4 v 6b: God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.


2 Corinthians 7 v 4:

Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.



I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.

James 1 v 10:

But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.



But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower.


(Note: ‘wild’ speaks more of the wicked than the righteous - Hebrews 6 v 8) 


As the NIV adds false words / false doctrine to God’s Holy Word they teach God’s people to sin in Pride and false humility making the Word of God an abomination.


Ezekiel 16 v 49a: Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her


Satan’s deadly snare is set and those who believe him will be damned as he is.

The NIV translators translate these words correctly in Hebrews 2 v 7 ‘ the angels’ (apart from removing 10 words from v6 of Psalm 8) showing they know the correct rendering, but Satan’s poison of pride is set ready in the footnotes to lead the unsuspecting into his mouth.    


Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:




Hebrews 2 v 7

You made him a little[a] lower than the angels;
      you crowned him with glory and honor

The NIV then references this to v9 of Hebrews 2 meaning we shall be exalted over the angels and be as God -blasphemy


Our Lord Jesus tells us what we shall be like when we receive our new bodies from Him: Luke 20 v 36: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. (Matthew 22 v 30)


Revelation 22 v 8-9: And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.


There is a completely vast everlasting difference between God and man / angels, one side of this truth is God’s Greatness, Power and Majesty. Though man is created in the likeness of God and God’s people shall be conformed to His image this speaks primarily of the fruit of God’s Spirit and being one with God and of being fashioned in body in the likeness of God (His family): NEVER does this mean we are or shall become almost as God, as the Devil through the NIV blasphemously leads one to believe in pride, for which he was cast out of heaven. God is God alone forever. 




Psalms:40:4: Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.


Psalms:119:6: Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.


Proverb 28 v 21: To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.


2Chronicles 19 v 7: Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.


James 2 v 9: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

1Timothy 3 v 2:

A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;



Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,


Mark the word changes in the NIV: ‘above reproach’ equals what man thinks, ‘blameless’ equals what God thinks. ‘Vigilant’ is changed to ‘temperate’- this enables the enemy - the Devil - to do his evil work unhindered. Sober is changed to ‘Self-control’, which I will expose later and ‘of good behaviour’ is changed to ‘respectable’. ‘Respectable’ speaks of the world; ‘good behaviour’ speaks of righteousness. The world thinks a lot of respectable people for they fit their mould, God does not, the world hates the righteous, but God loves them. The blameless and good (righteous) behaviour of The Lord Jesus Christ as He cast out with a whip those polluting the Temple of God is not classed by the world as ‘respectable’ but rather the opposite. 


Romans 2 v 11: For there is no respect of persons with God.


1 Timothy 3 v 8:

Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;


Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain.


1Timothy 3 v 11:

Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.


In the same way, their wives are to be women worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything


To ‘be grave’ is not the way of the world, for they are deceived to forget ‘The Judgement to come’ and hell and damnation lest they be prompted to escape the snare of the Devil; hence the Word of God is dropped by the NIV for something more ‘respectable’.


The NIV’s ‘not pursuing dishonest gain’ gives the impression that pursuing after gain is alright if it is not dishonest; in other words we can pursue after the gain of money - ‘filthy lucre’. This is contrary to the Word of God and deadly for we are commanded not to store up treasure on earth. The love of money is the root of all evil -1Timothy 6v10 (which the NIV also alters to ‘a root of all kinds of evil’)


Matthew 6 v 19-21: Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.


Luke 18 v 24b-25: How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.


We are commanded instead to seek first the Kingdom of God:


Matthew 6 v 33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Titus 2 v 2a:

That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate


Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled



SELF-CONTROL’ (‘Self’ is indeed in ‘control’ of most today- they are ‘self-controlled’ as in the verse above. This word in the NIV is ambiguous to say the very least). 


The Word of God tells us to crucify ‘self’ not control it:


Galatians 5 v 24: And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.


Galatians 2 v 20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.


Luke 14 v 26-27: If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.


Luke 14 v 33b: whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple


‘Self-control’ is needed by many religious people today because ‘self’ has never been crucified. They have never been born again by the Holy Ghost - a new creature in Christ Jesus:


2Corinthians 5 v 17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.


Christ and ‘self’ cannot live together whether controlled or otherwise, if ‘self’ is not put to death then we shall die:


Romans 8 v 13-14: For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.


1Corinthians 3 v 16-17: Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.


Self-control’ is an abomination to God; it is no more than a religious front to the flesh - a Pharisee:

Matthew 23 v 27: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. (self)

Galatians 5 v 22-23:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.



But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.


‘Self- control’ is the ‘self-righteous’ effort of man and can be achieved to a lesser or greater degree by anyone - this is not the fruit of the Spirit of God which alone is given by God.


Acts 24 v 25:

And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.


As Paul discoursed on righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, "That's enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you."


No doubt Felix was well practised at ‘self-control’; had the apostle Paul spoken of this, Felix would have thought himself well prepared for the judgement to come.


Titus 2 v 6:

Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.


Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled

1Peter 4 v 7:

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.



The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.


(Note: this shows the nature of the ‘self’ they are trying to control revealing that those who penned the second half of this NIV verse knew not the Holy Ghost.) 

1Peter 5 v 8:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:


Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.


Satan’s lie in the NIV has already deceived his victim and paralyzed them with the ‘arm of flesh’ which will fail them in battle.

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;




and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;


Several more references to ‘self-control’ are to be found in the corrupted NIV but sufficient has been shown to see this false doctrine.




The NIV also teaches a ‘new self’ in the hope of deceiving people into believing it is ‘Self’ which is the key, through ‘self-control’, not Christ. This is pride (as promoted by the NIV else where) and is blasphemy. The NIV exalts ‘self’; The Word of God exalts Christ.


1Corinthians 15 v 20: But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

v 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

v 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.


Galatians 2 v 20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:


Colossians 3 v 10:

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:


Col:3:11: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.


(‘Christ is all, and in all’ is clearly spoken by the apostle Paul in the context of God’s elect only v 1 - 24)


and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.


The new man’ is not a ‘new self’ or an ‘it’ but Christ; hence the apostle Paul states in v 11 - but Christ is all, and in all.


Colossians 1 v 26 - 27: Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:


The NIV further obscures this truth by changing ‘after the image of him that created him’, which speaks of the Word of God become flesh in accordance to the Will of God the Father; Christ being the image of God the Father:


John:1:14: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.


John:14:9: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?


Isaiah:9:6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.


Colossians:1:12: Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Col:1:13: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

God who is from everlasting to everlasting - never created - but the Creator of all things ‘was made flesh’ (NIV + JW incorrectly have ‘became flesh’- The Word of God was not changed into flesh as implied in modern versions but rather flesh (a body Hebrews 10 v 5), was inseparably added to, and made one with, the ‘Word of God’, (except ‘once’ in death) - there is a big difference between the two.)


Even as the words we speak are us, being from our hearts and minds, hence God will judge us by them (Matthew 12 v 36-37); so is the Word of God:


John:1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.


But the body (flesh) of our Lord Jesus Christ was created by God 2000 years ago as God has created all men (Isaiah 53v 2b) except for the sinful seed of Adam (man). Hence the Mystery of the everlasting uncreated God joined to created flesh - The Word of God the Father was made flesh our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 4 v 24:

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.



and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.


The NIV teaches the ‘New Age’ lie of Satan ‘ye shall be as Gods’ - Genesis 3v5. The Word of God teaches Christ. The subtle dark twisted works of Satan in modern versions are not so subtle once they are exposed in the undiminished and unpolluted light and rule of God’s Holy Word.

Mark: 10:24: And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it FOR THEM THAT TRUST IN RICHES to enter into the kingdom of God!



Mark: 10:24: The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!


1Timothy: 6:10: For the love of money is THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.



1Timothy: 6:10: For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.


Luke:16:13: No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.  (mammon = riches / money)


A) In Luke 16 the NIV states ‘....You cannot serve both God and Money’ showing they know that the love of money is ‘the root of all evil’. Satan thus causes corrupted versions to contradict themselves and in the meantime teaches the lie that to trust / love riches may be possible. To do so will end you in The Lake of Fire.


B) It is also obvious to see that corrupted versions also teach that it is hard for everyone else as well as the Rich to enter the Kingdom of God:


NIV.....“Children, how hard it is to enter the Kingdom of God!


This is not what scripture teaches hence the Words of our Lord Jesus Christ are made to contradict themselves in corrupt modern versions:


Matthew: 19:14: But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. (our Lord is not speaking of rebellious children as some think today -2kings 2v23-24, but those who love Him -Matthew 18v6).


Luke 6:20: And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.


C) Several other subtle deceptions of the Devil are also laid in these corrupted verses: e.g. Mark 10v 24 is preceded and completed by our Lord speaking of riches / rich men hence in v 24 of the KJB ‘how hard it is for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God’. By the NIV removing these words it appears that our Lord Jesus is speaking against Riches and rich men, of themselves. This is not the case; our Lord Jesus is speaking against the trust / love of riches; which is entirely different. Abraham, Job, David etc. were very rich but they loved God not their riches, Heaven also is extremely lavished with riches. Very slyly, under the surface, Satan is pointing the finger at God for having created riches, gold, silver, precious stones etc. being the cause of the rich perishing. But it is the evil heart of man which loves / trusts riches instead of God that is condemned and our Lord’s Words which highlight this are removed.


Note: In 1Timothy 6v10, the Word ‘coveted’, which concerning riches, is to break the 10th commandment (Exodus 20 v 17), is replaced with the word ‘eager’, and the Word ‘erred’ is replaced with ‘wandered’: this displaces the gravity of the sin committed against God of loving possessions (riches/money), hence the Word ‘through’ is removed also.


A NOTE ON ‘PROSPERITY’ TEACHING: Prosperity teaching teaches ‘the Love’ of Mammon / Riches (Comforts - ‘Self’) of which the Lukewarm church is riddled. We have looked at this teaching of Satan under the last few headings. 2Thessalonians 1

v11 is an example of what modern versions are intoxicated with:


John 6 v 38: For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.


Ephesians 2 v 10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.



NIV etc. 2 Thessalonians 1 v 11

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.


The NIV completely changes / reverses the Word of God, teaching ‘Self Will’ instead of God’s Will. ‘of his goodness’ speaking in context of God as with ‘work, faith and power’ is removed and replaced with ‘every (good) purpose of yours’ this subtle blasphemy (for that is what it is - removing God and replacing God with self - for which Satan was damned) is perpetuated in the last line.


Luke 11 v 2: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.


(It is no wonder we find half of our Lord’s Words from Luke 11 v 2 removed in modern versions including the Words I have underlined.) 


The Words ‘with power’ are also removed as the apostle Paul said they would be in

 2Timothy 3 v 1-5:


This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.








Satan wants to Rule the World. But he is NOT in CONTROL, all Authority in heaven and on earth is ‘under the control’ of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, being given to Him by GOD THE FATHER until the New Heaven and New Earth - 1Corinthians 15v24-28


John 12 v 31-32: Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.


Matthew 28 v 18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

The NIV speaks Satan’s desire teaching false doctrine. It is the evil heart of man

that results in this world being wicked. ‘The evil one’ is another name for the Devil, Satan desires men to Fear him instead of God.


The NIV teaches what the Occult teaches. Satanists claims that Lucifer is the ‘One’ who rules this world (and heaven also), standing in complete contradiction to God’s Word. The authority Satan was given by God (Luke 4v 5-8), was completely stripped from him in the Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Satan’s only power is to deceive men to do his will, this is not hard for him for men love evil.      


Revelation:12:9: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.


(Note: this takes place just before The Great Tribulation/ Antichrist system, mark of the beast 666.) 


God has given power in His Name to cast out devils. Satan has no authority over us, though he will still seek to hinder us (Ephesians 6 v 10 - 18). Those who walk in obedience to God can testify, of the authority God has given to speak His Word, cast out devils, heal the sick and walk in every good work God has prepared for us to do.








Hosea 11 v 12 



Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.



Ephraim has surrounded me with lies,
       the house of Israel with deceit.
And Judah is unruly against God,
       even against the faithful Holy One.

Ecclesiastes 8 v 10a:



.......the wicked..........were forgotten

Job 16 v 20:



My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.



My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God;






John 15 v 20: Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

The NIV’s statement standing as it does in the NIV would lead one to believe that the apostle Paul is speaking of Christ’s sufferings on the cross - this would be blasphemy. In the King James Bible it is clear to see that Paul is not speaking blasphemy, but he is speaking about the great commission (v 25) placed on him to suffer for Christ’s sake in the preaching of the gospel for the benefit of God’s people; and that his present sufferings fulfilled, and were in fulfilment of this.


Acts 9 v 13-16: Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.


2Timothy 3 v 12: Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.


1Peter 4 v 12-13: Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.






What we have looked at in this section is only part of a much larger work of Satan found throughout all modern versions, in which he blasphemes and contradicts the Word of God. The abomination of this work in the sight of God should be absolutely clear to all Spirit filled brothers and sisters. Before we move on to heading 3 let us look at ‘The Lord’s Prayer’ in more detail.






The words of our Lord Jesus teaching us how to pray in Luke 11 were first mutilated by the Alexandrian Gnostic Marcion in the 2nd century. Marcion tried to infiltrate the early church with Gnostic (Occult/New Age) teaching and was thrown out as a Heretic.


Marcion once meeting Polycarp, said “acknowledge us”, Polycarp replied

“I acknowledge the firstborn of Satan.”

This evil work of Marcion is found in today’s modern bible versions. The corrupted manuscripts from which modern bible versions are translated, is the work of Gnostics such as Maricon and Origen - this evil work which has been preserved by the Vatican / the Roman Catholic Church in their so called ‘bibles’ including Gnostic  writings such as the ‘Apocrypha’, is a rotten stench in the face of God.

This mutilation of The Lord’s prayer was designed by Marcion to be used in Occult worship (the worship of Satan). Satan’s evil desire is to be ‘like the Most High’- Isaiah 14v 13-14, to be worshiped as God. Hence all reference to ‘Our’ Father in ‘HEAVEN’ is gone. Satan does not want us ‘delivered from evil’- He is the father of it. Occultists today use this mutilated prayer, to worship Satan as God, but the ‘Kingdom’ to come they are looking for is that of Antichrist:


Revelation: 13:4a: And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast,


Jesus said in John 8v 41a, 44, speaking to those who disobey God and twist His Word:


Ye do the deeds of your father.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
