Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus.

Be shepherds of the church of God

In the New Testament, (speaking of the church) the word ‘shepherd’ is only ever applied to our Lord Jesus Christ, no one else. The word ‘sheep’ or ‘lambs’ is applied to God’s people e.g.

Matthew:26v31b: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

(The ‘sheep’ here are the apostles. To ‘feed’ the church of God can..

.....stated here are not found in the universal 10 commandment -which are to be obeyed by everyone. Hence they were added to guard Gentile believers from pagan Gentile practises.)

As for the believers from among the nations, we have sent out, rendering our decision that they should keep themselves from what is sacrificed to idols as well as from blood and what is strangled and from fornication.”

(The vague term ‘sexual immorality’ in the NIV can be rendered to mean anything one might like; for it does not expose specific sexual sin i.e. fornication which was common place among pagan Gentiles as it is today.)

Acts 22 v 9

And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.

1Co:7:1: Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

v 2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

(In part 2 ‘Doctrines of devils....’ can be found several other corruptions in modern versions of 1Corinthians 7.)

v 2 But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.

(The NIV / JW add false words to make it seem that the early church were sexual sinners. If this had been so they most certainly could not have ‘married’ for this would have ended in damnation

-1 Corinthians 6 v 9-10, and the apostle Paul would have preached repentance and abstinence.)

v 2 yet, because of prevalence of fornication, let each man have his own wife and each woman have her own husband.

(The NIV also removes the specific word ‘fornication’ and replaces it with the vague word ‘immorality’, the apostle Paul is clearly speaking of fornication as is seen by verse 1.)

7 v 5(b)

that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again

(Satan’s consistent removal of fasting least he be cast out is clear for all to see)

that you may devote time to prayer and may come together again

Note: The NIV and JW translate 1Corinthians 7 v 36 - 38 incorrectly giving completely the wrong meaning to the passage - the apostle Paul is speaking about a father and his virgin daughter - not an engaged man and his fiancé or his virginity : v38 makes this absolutely clear. This teaching in scripture highlights the authority and responsibility a father is given by God concerning his family including the marriage of his daughter; this is removed in modern versions.

(Paul warns of being ‘castaway’, modern versions water this down to prize giving.)

No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

(The false Catholic doctrine of ‘self flagellation’ is clearly established in corrupt modern versions.)

but I pummel my body and lead it as a slave, that, after I have preached to others, I myself should not become disapproved somehow.

etc. (the amount of fasting is not specified but to fast is)

in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger;

(In the example of godly living, of the apostle Paul, the word ‘fastings’ is avoided at all cost - hunger of itself does not fulfil the commandment of God’s Word to ‘fast’)

by beatings, by prisons, by disorders, by labors, by sleepless nights, by times without food,

(‘In watchings’ is to obey the commandment of our Lord Jesus i.e. -

Matthew 26v41, Mark 13v33 hence Acts 20 v 7-11 the words ‘sleepless nights’ obscure this.)

11 v 27

In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

(Word changing in corrupted modern versions is seen throughout the Old and New Testament of which we have looked at relatively few examples; as my main aim has been to show words removed.......

I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked.

....The NIV / JW remove the word ‘fasting’ once again and replace it with a double ‘hunger’ - ‘gone without food’: thus they reveal Satan’s work in their illogical wording.......

in labor and toil, in sleepless nights often, in hunger and thirst, in abstinence from food many times, in cold and nakedness.

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions.

(Modern versions teach that he ‘has’ seen what he has ‘not’ seen; and do not give a clear.....

Let no man deprive you of the prize who takes delight in a [mock] humility and a form of worship of the angels, “taking his stand on” the things he has seen, puffed up without proper cause by his fleshly frame of mind,

...warning of the grave danger. The NIV also adds several words not found in the Greek text.)

1 Thessalon-

ians 1 v 1

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul, Silas and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace and peace to you.

Paul and Sil·va´nus and Timothy to the congregation of the Thes·sa·lo´ni·ans in union with God the Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ:

1 Thessalon-

ians 2 v 15a

Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us;

who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out.

who killed even the Lord Jesus and the prophets and persecuted us.

2 Thessalon-

ians 1 v 12a

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you,

... so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you,

in order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you,

1 Timothy

1 v 17

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible, invisible, [the] only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

1 Timothy

4 v 12

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

Let no man ever look down on your youth. On the contrary, become an example to the faithful ones in speaking, in conduct, in love, in faith, in chasteness.

1 Timothy

5 v 4

But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.

(Grandchildren are not nephews and I wonder what the NIV means by

their religion’-it sounds

like they believe in more than one!!)

But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let these learn first to practice godly devotion in their own household and to keep paying a due compensation to their parents and grandparents, for this is acceptable in God’s sight.

JW ‘New World Trans.’

1 Timothy

5 v 16

If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.

(Note: the NIV also misses out ‘of one man’ in verse 9 of 1Timothy 5 and removes  the words ‘if she have’ 5 times in verse 10 which sets the standard for Widowhood and adds ‘such as’ etc.)

If any woman who is a believer has widows in her family, she should help them and not let the church be burdened with them, so that the church can help those widows who are really in need.

(The NIV places the ‘first responsibility’ of the man on to a woman and forgets the charge the apostle Paul has just given concerning

Widowhood v9-15.)

If any believing woman has widows, let her relieve them, and let the congregation not be under the burden. Then it can relieve those who are actually widows.

1 Timothy

6 v 5

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

(The NIV are happy to remove this command for they are of the ‘company’ who.......

violent disputes about trifles on the part of men corrupted in mind and despoiled of the truth, thinking that godly devotion is a means of gain.

.....make ‘great gain’ out of selling corrupt bibles!!

1 Timothy

6 v 7

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.

For we have brought nothing into the world, and neither can we carry anything out.

2 Timothy

1 v 11

And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.

Titus 1 v 4

(part (b) of this verse we saw earlier)

To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

To Titus, my true son in our common faith:
Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

to Titus, a genuine child according to a faith shared in common:

May there be undeserved kindness and peace from God [the] Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

Hebrews 8

Hebrews 10

v 30

For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people."

For we know him that said: “Vengeance is mine; I will recompense”; and again: “Jehovah will judge his people.”

Hebrews 10

v 34

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.

(Matthew 6 v 21: For where your treasure.....

For you both expressed sympathy for those in prison and joyfully took the plundering of your belongings, knowing you yourselves have a better and an abiding possession., there will your heart be also.)

Hebrews 11

v 11

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

(The apostle Paul has just finished speaking about Abraham in the previous 3 verses)

By faith Abraham, even though he was past age—and Sarah herself was barren—was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise.

(The NIV completely changed this verse as well as removing the 6 Words highlighted. It is not men who go through

‘the menopause’/ ‘past age’ but women.  Great intellect is not needed to understand this. Abraham also was already ‘a father’

through Hagar having born Ishmael.

By faith also Sarah herself received power to conceive seed, even when she was past the age limit, since she esteemed him faithful who had promised.

On top of this Abraham married again after Sarah died and had 6 more sons by his wife Keturah - Genesis 25 v 1, but the NIV tells us ‘he was past age’. The NIV translators either do not know what they are talking about or they are making the Word of God contradict itself on purpose - such men should never be in charge of translating GOD’S HOLY WORD)

Hebrews 11

v 13

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth.

In faith all these died, although they did not get the [fulfillment of the] promises, but they saw them afar off and welcomed them and publicly declared that they were strangers and temporary residents in the land.

Hebrews 12

v 20

For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

because they could not bear what was commanded: "If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned."

For the command was not bearable to them: “And if a beast touches the mountain, it must be stoned.”

Hebrews 13

v 21a

equip you with everything good for doing his will

James 4 v 4

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

(Men’ who sin against..

Adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever, therefore, wants to be a friend of the world is constituting himself an enemy of God.

....God are named first.)

James 5 v16

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

(It is upon this verse that the Roman Catholic church has built their false doctrine of ‘Confession’. The Greek is not ‘sins’ which requires repentance before God or else Judgment will follow - Hebrews 10 v 26-27,1 Corinthians 3 v16-17, 1John 3 v

4 -10, but ‘faults’......

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

........meaning ‘minor offences’. James does not mean what Rome has used to control the masses but rather if you are at fault with your brother or sister put it right and pray one for another.

NOTE also the emphasis placed on ‘Power’/ man. It is.....

Therefore openly confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may get healed. A righteous man’s supplication, when it is at work, has much force.

........God’s power in answering the cry of a righteous man that availeth much not man - John15v5b for without me ye can do nothing.

What James is saying in other words is that the fervent prayer of a righteous man will get the ear and attention of God Almighty.)

1 Peter 1

 v 22

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.

(Without God we can....

Now that you have purified your souls by [your] obedience to the truth with unhypocritical brotherly affection as the result, love one another intensely from the heart. nothing -John15v4)

1 Peter 3

v 16

Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

Hold a good conscience, so that in the particular in which you are spoken against they may get ashamed who are speaking slightingly of your good conduct in connection with Christ.

1 Peter 4

v 3

For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

(It is not only pagans who sin against God but all men  / our / us / we the apostle Peter includes himself before repentance. The Vatican no doubt changed this to ‘you’ for their whole foundation is built on ‘Saint’ Peter..

For the time that has passed by is sufficient for you to have worked out the will of the nations when you proceeded in deeds of loose conduct, lusts, excesses with wine, revelries, drinking matches, and illegal idolatries.

...revellings and banquetings(with ‘excess of wine’) are also changed in the NIV, for the pope(s) and his cardinals, bishops love these)

(All idolatry is illegal)

1 John 5 v 7

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

For there are three that testify

For there are three witness bearers

This verse of God’s Word -1 John 5 v 7- has come under more attack from the devil than any other verse I know of in scripture. The reason is obvious to see: there is no clearer / concise statement of ‘The Godhead’ proving our Lord Jesus Christ is God than this verse: hence why it is removed by the ‘Jehovah Witnesses’. Many have said that there is little to no evidence to show that this is the Word of God. The truth is, the verse itself proves otherwise, and those who state such things have never studied the external evidence and show to their own shame that they are the enemies of God.

When our Lord Jesus Christ returns to Reign no one will argue that these are not the Words of God.

Note: Regarding this verse, lies as usual are told in the footnotes of the NIV e.g. ‘not found in any Greek manuscript before the 16th century’: or ‘Late manuscripts......’

I will go through some of the evidence which shows clearly this is not true:

1) The following Greek numbered manuscripts have 1 John 5v7:

221 (tenth century), 635 (eleventh century), 88 (twelfth century), 429 (fourteenth century), 629 (fourteenth century), 636 (fifteenth century), 61 (sixteenth century), 918 (sixteenth century) etc. - there are other Greek manuscripts which have

1 John 5v7 on top of these.

2). The vast majority (hundreds) of ‘Old Latin’ manuscripts which contain 1 John chapter 5 have 1 John 5 verse 7 .This  large number of the ‘Old Latin’ manuscripts stand as a testimony in themselves as to the authenticity of 1John 5v7.

3). Early ‘church’ and later ‘church’ writers (documents) quote 1 John 5 verse 7 many times: Cyprian (258 AD), Priscillian (385 AD), Cassian (435 AD), Cassiodorus (580 AD), the Varimadum (380 AD), the Speculum (a treatise which contains the ‘Old Latin’ text, 450 AD), Victor of Vita (489 AD), Victor Vitensis (485 AD), Codex Freisingensis (of 500 AD), Fulgentius (533 AD), Isidore of Seville (636 AD), codex Pal Legionensis (650 AD), Jaqub of Edessa (700 AD) and many others.

Note: 1 John 5 v 7 is preserved in the edition of the Apostle’s Creed used by the Waldenses and Albigensians of the twelfth century.

4).Textual Evidence: There is clear evidence to be found in the Greek text itself.

Starting with 1 John 5:8, there are 3 nouns which, in Greek, stand in the neuter (Spirit, water, and blood). However, they are followed by a participle that is masculine. The Greek phrase here is oi marturountes. Those who know the Greek language understand this to be bad grammar when left to stand by itself. Even more noticeably, verse 6 has the same participle but stands in the neuter (Gk.: to marturoun). Why are 3 neuter nouns supported with a masculine participle? The reason is clear when verse 7 is included. There we have 2 masculine nouns (Father and Son) followed by a neuter noun (Spirit). The verse also has the Greek masculine participle oi marturountes. With this clause introducing verse 8, it is very proper for the participle in verse 8 to be masculine, because of the masculine nouns in verse seven. But if verse 7 were not there it would become bad Greek grammar.

5).Internal Evidence: The writing of verse 7 is certainly in the style of the apostle John. John is noted for speaking of Christ as ‘the Word (logos in Greek), this is his unique God inspired way, note: John 1v 1, John 1v 14, 1John 1v 1 and therefore 1 John 5v7.

1 John 5

v 13

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

(Luke 9 v62: And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.)

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

(To be saved we must endure - ‘believe’ to the end, Matthew 24v13: ‘But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved’. For if any who are saved turn away, they shall be damned.

I write you these things that you may know that you have life everlasting, you who put your faith in the name of the Son of God.

The NIV removes some of these words in Hebrews 3 v 6: But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.)

Jude 1 v 4b

and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

(The NIV / JW both

deny ‘God the Father’ removing ‘the only Lord God’. It is God the Father who is the ‘only Sovereign’ and to Him shall all be subject even our Lord Jesus Christ: read -...

and proving false to our only Owner and Lord, Jesus Christ.

...1Corinthians 15

In other words the NIV and JW dishonour God the Father reversing the roles of God the Father and God the Son as they deny God.
