  - The arm of flesh

Matthew:4:4: But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matthew:28:19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

M't:28:20: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

2Timothy:2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Do you know Godís Word and how to rightly divide it?

Ephesians:6:10: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Eph:6:11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Eph:6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Eph:6:13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Eph:6:14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Eph:6:15: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph:6:16: Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Eph:6:17: And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Eph:6:18: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

There are many other workings of Satan within the body of Jesus Christ, which need addressing. All can be easily banished, when Godís people know and obey Godís Word. Satanís work is to weaken and disease Godís people, so that they are crippled in carrying out the Great Commission. Godís people must repent and obey Godís Holy Word.

1Thessalonians:5:19: Quench not the Spirit.

1Th:5:20: Despise not prophesyings.

1Th:5:21: Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

There is a Lie of Satan which is told in some churches today, which states, that the work of God, through the gifts of the Holy Ghost, are redundant today and lasted only as long as the twelve apostles, or until the cannon of scripture became available. There are variations to this Lie but the above is the baseline of it.

I will show you from scripture that this is not the truth revealed in Godís Word; and that this false teaching can only be upheld where the church is weak and lacking in faith.

Luke:18:8b: Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Hebrews:11:6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Matthew:21:21: Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

M't:21:22: And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Faith has never changed; it is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Faith is simply believing God and trusting wholeheartedly what He has spoken. The same faith that saved Abraham is the same faith that saves you and me, but many of Godís people stop right there, and never go any further, they remain babies in God, (Abraham didnít; he believed that God was able to raise his son Isaac from the dead, he believed God for the miraculous birth of Isaac), Jesus told us in John 14 v 12:

 ĎVerily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.í

Jesus did not limit this to the twelve apostles; Jesus said he that believeth on me, that includes you and me. When Godís people do not believe God, their faith remains dormant and their testimony small; many Christians live their whole lives like this.

Satan counterfeits some of the gifts of the Holy Ghost, so some of Godís people become afraid to walk by faith in case they be deceived. This is not the way it should be, we should be strong in faith seeing the works of Satan pulled down and exposing them for what they are, we shouldnít be cringing in the corner. False healers such as Benny Hinn are wolves in sheepís clothing and need exposing along with many others. But Satan has also deceived Godís people to twist scripture in a number of places to propagate his lie that God doesnít work as He used to; so that he (Satan) can cripple the church - e.g. 1Corinthians 13:

1Corinthians:13:8: Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

1 Corinthians 13 v 8 is then falsely quoted along the lines of Ďauthentic prophecy, tongues etc. ceased, or had an appointed end in Paulís day or with the cannon of scripture etc., or, Ďsign giftsí filled a particular need for sign requiring Jews and to give endorsement to the apostles in the absence of a complete New Testament etc., etc.í

Those who write such things show their ignorance of scripture and reveal their lack of faith which is reflected in their little to no testimony. Starting with the passage that is so often used, I will demonstrate from Godís Word that God commands His servants to use the gifts / talents He has given them and not bury them in the sand. We will be held accountable for them on Judgment day, and this includes spiritual gifts which God has given.

1. The Apostle Paul states in the very same verse (v8) Ďwhether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.í I would ask the men in question, do they believe that knowledge has ceased / failed or vanished away at this present time 2005?

The answer is of course not; knowledge will not vanish away until all is fulfilled.  For God will then create a New Heaven and a New Earth and the former things will be forgotten (Isaiah 65v 17, Revelation 21v 1-5).

Isaiah:65:17: For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Just as knowledge has not vanished away, neither have prophecies failed nor tongues ceased.

2. The Apostle Paul carries on in verse 9 to say;

1Corinthians:13:9: For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

1Co:13:10: But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

It is obvious the Apostle Paul is NOT speaking of the cannon of scripture because in verse 12 he says:

1Corinthians:13:12: For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

(Speaking of face to face with God)

Joel:2:26: And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Joe:2:27: And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Joe:2:28: And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Joe:2:29: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

The prophet Joel is speaking here of The Lordís 1000 year Reign on earth after the full restoration of Israel (read chapters 2 and 3).

The Apostle Peter speaks of Joel 2 in Acts 2; showing by the Spirit of God that this pouring out of Godís Holy Spirit on all flesh also includes those who love God from Pentecost to The Lordís final coming.

Acts:2:16: But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Ac:2:17: And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Ac:2:18: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Ac:2:19: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

Ac:2:20: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

Ac:2:21: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The gifts of the Holy Ghost are spoken along side end time signs of our Lordís return.

In the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, Matthew 28 v 18-20, Mark 16 v 15-18 and Luke 24 v 46-51, our Lord includes the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Mark:16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

M'r:16:16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

M'r:16:17: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

M'r:16:18: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The Great Commission has not ceased, for in every generation the need of repentance through the preaching of the Gospel continues and hence also the signs that follow those who believe. I can testify to the miraculous working of the Holy Ghost many times over as I have preached, in obedience to God, the undiluted Gospel.

Matthew:28:20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Nowhere does our Lord Jesus cancel the gifts of the Holy Ghost. He does the opposite and confirms them - Teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you (Mark 16 v 17-18). Till when? THE END OF THE WORLD.

The 2 witnesses of Revelation 11 will do many signs and wonders as they prophecy for 3 Ĺ years during the Final Great Tribulation. Those left behind during the tribulation will also become strong, doing exploits for God (Daniel 11 v 31 - 36).

( note: the words Ďsigns and wondersí are used to speak of Godís power displayed in Egypt and Godís deliverance in captivity - Deuteronomy 6v22, Nehemiah 9v10, Jeremiah 32v20, Daniel 4v2, Daniel 6v27- much will be repeated but in greater measure during the great tribulation.)

Note: Satan will also work counterfeit signs and wonders to deceive the world.

Those who uphold this lie of Satan, seek to destroy with one fail swoop, the genuine testimony of millions of born again believers throughout the last 1900 years of world history.

I am one of those born again believers who have seen the miraculous power of God at work 100ís of times. I will give you an example of what I mean:

2 years ago I suddenly became aware I was bleeding internally; there was no mistaking it for I lost approximately 6 pints of blood. I rapidly became so weak I was unable to stand up and my voice began to falter - I thought I was going home to be with my Loving Saviour. At this point The Lord spoke to me by His Holy Spirit and said Ďcall Caroline (my wife) with what strength you have left, to get the oil and anoint you in prayerí. As we prayed together I felt the hand of The Lord go into my stomach area and out again. Within about an hour of this I was back on my feet and able to walk around normally - humanly speaking this would not have been possible for I had lost so much blood.

Luke:13:32: And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

Lu:13:33: Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

(Satan and his devils shall be bound in the bottomless pit at the beginning of our Lordís 1000 year Reign on earth)

Our Lord Jesus is not speaking of the next 3 days of His work on earth as a man would speak, this is evident by verse 33 and also that the cross was yet to come. Our Lord Jesus is speaking of the next 2000 years ( 2 days) of His work on earth through His body; and the final 1000 years (1 day) of His Reigning on earth when His work on earth shall be perfected into the new heaven and the new earth (Revelation 20, 21 and 22). A thousand years is as a day with The Lord.

2Peter:3:8: But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (Psalm 90 v 4)

God is exact in His timing not rough. Concerning Israel God speaks:

Hosea:6:1: Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

Ho:6:2: After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

1Corinthians:11:3: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

1Co:11:4: Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

1Co:11:5: But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

1Co:11:6: For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

1Co:11:7: For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

1Co:11:8: For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

1Co:11:9: Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

1Co:11:10: For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

1Co:11:11: Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

1Co:11:12: For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

1Co:11:13: Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

1Co:11:14: Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

1Co:11:15: But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

1Co:11:16: But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

1. Some state, a woman must have a veil or something equivalent covering her head and hair.

There are many variations of the above that I have come across including variation on how long and what to do in certain places e.g. shower, bed etc.

2. Many believe that hair length, a covering, and sometimes headship have no relevance today.

3. Others are some where in the middle.

What does the Word of God actually say? - Godís Word cannot be broken.

1. Headship is the order of authority God has ordained from the beginning and this will not change.

1Corinthians:11:3: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Ephesians:5:22: Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Eph:5:23: For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Eph:5:24: Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Eph:5:25: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

God has not given this authority to bring friction, but order in godliness in His family. Without obedience to His divine order, the work of God does not go forward and the work of Satan abounds.

a). The man must be careful not to misuse the authority God has given him under Christ over the woman, otherwise he will be judged for it.

b). The woman must be careful not to usurp the authority God has given the man in wanting to be the head when God has not given her this authority, otherwise she will be judged likewise.

God expects His order to be carried out faithfully for His glory. God made you what you are and that will not change, this was foreordained before the foundation of the world as was our salvation (Ephesians 1 v 4-5).

Galatians:3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

The Apostle Paul is not speaking in the above verse about headship, but about being co-heirs in Godís salvation, so do not misunderstand.

When our Lord Jesus speaks for example in Matthew 22v 30 of the resurrection and being as the angels, He does not say there is no order of authority but rather that there is no marriage in heaven between men and women.

God has created the angelic powers with a clear order of authority, this same order is found with fallen angels. There are a number of scriptures in both the Old and New Testament that show this divine order of authority - Revelation 12 v 7-8, Ephesians 6 v 12, Daniel 10 v 13 etc.

2. In accordance with Godís Word, a man in the New Covenant should have his head uncovered, and a woman should have her head covered when praying or prophesying.

What does to be covered / uncovered mean?

a). It has often been assumed that to be covered must mean a veil or hat like covering. This is in fact not the case. I have done a detailed study on this passage several times in the past, in reference to myself and my wife, using all the Greek words (bearing in mind corrupted Greek lexicons) and the scriptures testify that those who would like to see a veil or veil like covering on the head of every woman are very much mistaken.

God is not interested in false tradition, He expects us to rightly divide His Word.

The Apostle Paul in v 15, tells us what the covering is for a woman:

1Corinthians:11:15: But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

1Corinthians:11:5: But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

1Co:11:6: For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

The Apostle Paul is not speaking here about being unveiled but about a woman having short cut hair.

This can be seen clearly by following him carefully in verses 13-15.

1Corinthians:11:13: Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

1Co:11:14: Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

1Co:11:15: But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

Paul is not using nature as one example of many but as THE example, for it can be seen. Paul uses the word Ďuncoveredí in verse 13 in conjunction with the words Ďlong hairí in verse 14 and again in v 15 both Ďlong hair and covering.í

It is clear the apostle Paul is speaking of hair when he is speaking of being covered or uncovered not hats or veils. This seems strange to some because they do not know why God created them with hair. Think about it, in the day that God created Adam and Eve, they were both naked in the Garden of Eden. God provided no hats or veils. Eve was created with beautiful long hair, not short hair like a hedgehog. Eve was not created by God to be an Adam look alike but a beautiful woman, created out of man but different to man, in the likeness of God to be his help meet, how wonderful. Note the angels (v 10) were there when God created Eve and they were not offended but shouted for joy (Job 38v7). Even after the fall when God provided skins (by sacrifice) to cover their nakedness - their sin; no head covering is given to Eve but rather a coat to cover her naked body.

Paul is primarily talking to men in 1 Corinthians 11 who were being contentious, not to women.

1Corinthians:11:16: But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

Referring to verse 14 - Paul is clearly saying if a man insists on having long hair it will be a shame to him and in Godís house we have no such custom.

Those who press that a woman must be veiled by command of God are twisting scripture. And those who say a woman is condemned if she is not veiled are in serious error.

1. Jesus never rebuked Mary for anointing His feet with ointment and wiping His feet with her hair (obviously unveiled long hair) John 12 v 1-3, John 11 v 2.  Nor did Jesus rebuke the prostitute who repented in Luke 7 v 36-50 for her great love and faith as she wet His feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. Jesus was not waiting for a further revelation of the truth to put these two women right - JESUS IS THE TRUTH. If it had been wrong He would have rebuked them, but instead it was a beautiful act of real worship to God, acceptable in His sight.

2. Paul does not uphold any concept of a veil (it is only corrupt Greek lexicons that do), Paul instead speaks of long hair.

3. To say something is a commandment of God when it is not is very dangerous and forbidden in scripture. The penalty for adding to Godís Word is written in Revelation 22 v 18, Ďthis bookí being Godís book, the whole Bible which is prophetic throughout from Genesis to Revelation.

2Timothy:3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Proverb:30:6: Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Deuteronomy:4:2: Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

I will now return to what God does expect of His people.

1. Men should have short hair and not long hair so that we do not dishonour our Lord Jesus Christ. How long or how short God has not specified so use the common sense He has given.

2. Women are to have long hair and not short hair, so that they do not dishonour Godís Word. Again an exact length is not given.

A woman may ask who is my head. The understanding of this is simple. For a married woman, the husband is her head, and for a virgin or unmarried woman, her father is her head. If her father or husband dies and she remains unmarried then the headship is passed to men of God who completely obey Godís Word who are in leadership in the church of God. They are then responsible before God for her well being. For all men will give account for those God has placed in their care.

Note: If a wife is asked by her husband to disobey the Word of God, she must graciously but firmly say NO.

1Timothy:2:5: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1Tm:2:6: Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

1Tm:2:7: Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

1Tm:2:8: I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

1Tm:2:9: In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

1Tm:2:10: But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

1Tm:2:11: Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

1Tm:2:12: But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

1Tm:2:13: For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

1Tm:2:14: And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

1Tm:2:15: Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

1Timothy:3:1: This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

1Tm:3:2: A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

1Tm:3:3: Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

1Tm:3:4: One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

1Tm:3:5: (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

1Tm:3:6: Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.

1Tm:3:7: Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

1Tm:3:8: Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;

1Tm:3:9: Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

1Tm:3:10: And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.

1Tm:3:11: Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.

1Tm:3:12: Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

1Tm:3:13: For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

                      (Bishops / elders and deacons must be Godly men)

Many men and women have disobeyed Godís Word in respect of headship and leadership.

1. Men have disobeyed in not taking the responsibility and authority God has given them properly. It has often been done in a half -hearted manner which shall suffer loss at the Judgment seat of Christ.

2. Women have usurped the God given authority of a man. More often in the home than in the church but I have seen both often.

This has been perpetuated for women by the evil work of Satan called feminism. Satan has lead certain women to believe their role is something other than what God has given; leading them into the perilous waters.

Headship and leadership which is given by God to men - under Christ - does not exclude women receiving from God by His Holy Spirit several of the gifts of the Holy Ghost. Prophecy for example is the working of Godís Holy Spirit in both men and women.

Acts:21:8: And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

Ac:21:9: And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

Ac:21:10: And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

Note: The gift of prophecy has NOT changed from the Old Testament to the New Testament as some false teachers and false churches have tried to teach; and it is a very foolish thing to just try a bit of prophesying; this will end in Judgment.

The Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ has not changed - neither has prophecy.

Revelation:19:10b: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

In the New Testament, there has been a greater out pouring of the Holy Ghost on Godís people so that there is an abundance of the gifts of the Holy Ghost to do the work God requires - the Great Commission. Because of the abundance it is easier for false prophets to creep in ( to destroy Godís people), unless prophecy is tested correctly according to Godís Holy Word - sadly today there has been a great falling away, leaving much of the church dead or Lukewarm.

There are though, gifts of the Holy Ghost that are given to men only and those must not be sought after by women. Three of these gifts by the Holy Ghost are the gift of preaching, the gift of teaching the body of Christ, and the gifts of an Apostle.

There has been much confusion in the church regarding these gifts, but there is no such confusion in the Word of God.

Disobedience to the Word of God will not do the work of God, as is evident by the (Great) falling away prophesied by the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2 v 3 for the end time. God does not need a helping hand.

Note: These gifts of God to men do not exclude, as with a prophetess, the defending and upholding of the truth of God, His Holy Word. The prophetess Deborah, the wife of Lapidoth, is a clear example of this in Judges 4 and 5. When men fail to obey God and are less than zealous for His Holy Word, God will raise up a prophetess to shame them. Men, women and children alike are called to be salt and light in every situation, sharing through their lives Godís wonderful love and truth. But men are called to preach the Gospel loud and clear and to teach the body of Christ all things God has commanded. Women are given gifts to help men fulfil the Great Commission for example hospitality, which unites the body of Christ to work as one. One part of the body is not more important than the other; all are needed in the working of God, and all are precious in His sight.

1Corinthians:14:29: Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

1Co:14:30: If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

1Co:14:31: For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

1Co:14:32: And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

1Co:14:33: For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

1Co:14:34: Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

1Co:14:35: And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

1Co:14:36: What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

1Co:14:37: If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

What God requires in His church, of which the western church as a whole has long forgotten, is that men are commanded to speak in church services etc. not women - this includes women prophetesses. If they have a prophecy from God they must wait and speak to their husbands later, or if they have no husband to an elder later. This in turn when tested can be brought to the church by men at a later meeting.

The Apostle Paul again in Titus outlines the authority God has given him and teaches what is required for a bishop (elder).

Titus:1:1: Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

Ti:1:2: In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Ti:1:3: But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;

Ti:1:4: To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Ti:1:5: For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:

Ti:1:6: If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.

Ti:1:7: For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

Ti:1:8: But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

Ti:1:9: Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

Ti:1:10: For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

Ti:1:11: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

There should always be more than one elder appointed in any one church.

Ecclesiastes:4:12b: a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Authority must only come from the Word of God divided correctly; any deviation from Godís Word must be dealt with immediately. Anyone in leadership who teaches false doctrine must be removed.

God commands that there be complete order in His church, this does not restrict praise to God when in accordance with His Word.

If there are children that are causing any form of disturbance to a service, they must be taken out and disciplined in accordance with the Word of God.  Babies likewise are not to be left to disturb a service; unless they are quiet they must be taken elsewhere. A child who is well disciplined and who loves God will sit quietly and listen.

Let all Godís people rejoice, both together and when alone

Ephesians 5 v 19 - 20: Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

(Note: there are many modern Ďworshipí!! songs today that are not pleasing to God. Many lack doctrine and in sound they copy the devilís music. Some have false doctrine weaved into them and many are plainly Lukewarm reflecting the state of the church. There are some though that are pleasing to God - a song that is centred in true praise to God, is sound in doctrine and is sound in music, is pleasing to God)

Psalms 150 v 1: Praise ye the LORD.  Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

v 2: Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

v 3: Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

v 4: Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

v 5: Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

v 6: Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.  Praise ye the LORD.

Romans:12:1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Ro:12:2: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Colossians:3:19: Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

Ephesians:5:25: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Eph:5:26: That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Eph:5:27: That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Eph:5:28: So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Eph:5:29: For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

Eph:5:30: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

Eph:5:31: For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Eph:5:32: This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Eph:5:33: Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

1Peter:3:7: Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

1Peter:3:1: Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;

1Pe:3:2: While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

1Pe:3:3: Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;

1Pe:3:4: But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

1Pe:3:5: For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

1Pe:3:6: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

Ephesians:6:1: Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Eph:6:2: Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

Eph:6:3: That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Ephesians:6:4: And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Nurture of The Lord:

Deuteronomy:6:4b: The LORD our God is one LORD:

De:6:5: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

De:6:6: And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

De:6:7: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Admonition of The Lord:

Proverb:13:24: He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Proverb:22:15: Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

Proverb:23:13: Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

Proverb:23:14: Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Parents need to teach their children day and night the Word of God, and guard them from the love of this world. Along side the reading of Godís Holy Word, (NOT watered down childrenís bible stories); children need to be taught daily to praise God and how to pray. If this is not carried out with right discipline, a child will be stunted and grow wild (but for Godís grace). When Our Lord Jesus said suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of heaven, He was not speaking of rebellious, disobedient children, of which there are many today (as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man); but of those who have been brought up in the fear of God and are clean ( 1 Corinthians 7 v14 b else were your children unclean; but now are they holy).

Children should be expected to make their beds, tidy their rooms and help with the day to day work of the household. They must be polite and obedient, anything lacking in regard to this must be dealt with by firm discipline.

There is a great promise for those who believe and therefore obey Godís Word:

Proverb:22:6: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

This is not a maybe / maybe not promise as some have falsely taught; God fulfils His Word if we obey the conditions; not as we think but as God has told us.

It is vital that parents take away every influence of the world (the work of Satan) and give their children every blessing of God.

James:1:27: Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

(The qualifications for widows are given in 1 Timothy 5 v 3-16)

Revelation:12:9: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

1John:2:15: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

What we do, the way we dress, the way we eat etc. must all be in accordance with what God has told us in His Word. Make the pattern of Godís Holy Word the pattern of your family home.

1Timothy:2:11: Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

Adam sinned against God, not because he was deceived by the serpent, but because he gave into his wife Eve. Adam listened to Eve when he should have corrected her in obedience to Godís Holy Word. Adam put his wife first, instead of Godís Word.

Satan was able to deceive and speak through Eve even when she was perfect. This is a lesson men desperately need to understand. A womanís work is not to dictate what is right and wrong, this is the work of the husband in accordance with Godís Holy Word.

Note: A woman is likewise tested through her children. Children need to be obedient at all times.

Note: By Godís grace, in time, a family that was displeasing to God will become pleasing to God as the truth of God is applied. Great joy will be yours then.

There has been much harm done to the work of God in the lives of children by parents sending their children to the world to be educated. This education needs to be done at home and centred only on the Word of God. Teach your children to read and write from Godís Holy Word, teach them true history (His- story) from Godís Word, teach them true science (creation) from Godís Word etc. and teach them how to share Godís love and Judgment with others. God expects you also to teach them practical work with their hands which starts in the home.

Here is what God thinks of the educational systems of this world:

1Corinthians:3:18: Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

1Co:3:19: For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

1Co:3:20: And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

1Co:3:21a: Therefore let no man glory in men.

Psalms:62:9b:men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

1Corinthians:1:19: For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

1Co:1:20: Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

1Co:1:21: For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

1Co:1:22: For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

1Co:1:23: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1Co:1:24: But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

1Co:1:25: Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

1Co:1:26: For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

1Co:1:27: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

1Co:1:28: And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

1Co:1:29: That no flesh should glory in his presence.

1Timothy:6:20: O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

1Tm:6:21: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

Do not let the Devil deceive you into thinking that modern education is not included - it most certainly is.

Let me ask you some basic questions:

1. In your pagan education did your teachers teach you to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, teach you to hate sin and the works of the Devil; teach you the uncorrupted Word of God; teach you how to preach / share the truth of Godís Holy Word; teach you how to be fruitful for God and so on?

What education does teach you, is how to make money:

1Timothy:6:9: But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

1Tm:6:10: For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

2. What are we here for? For Education or to obey what God has commanded us to do? Answer:

a). To be conformed to the image of His Son.

b). To fulfil the Great Commission - for tribulation - Revelation 14v 6-7, Matthew 24v14

3. Tell me what will remain of your pagan education when it goes through the fire of Judgment at the Judgment seat of Christ? (1Corinthians 3 v 11-20)

Those who are deceived by Satan to think I am too radical are wrong. What I have spoken is Bible basics; it is rather that they are lukewarm.

4. For foolish virgins; when you are left behind at The Lordís coming, tell me what good your precious education did for you?

The lies of Satan are taught time and time again in the schools and universities of the world. There is no God (evolution). The love of money (career). The love of menís praise (position). The fear of man - how great he is (pride), and so on and so on. One of these is enough to damn you eternally to The Lake of Fire, if you believe him (Satan).

Some use the argument that their children are there as salt and light (this is rarely true, as they are normally there to get a Ďgoodí education and become as the world).

God has commanded His people not to store up treasures on earth but rather to teach our children His Holy Word fully (day and night), that they might be true salt and light in fulfilling the Great Commission.

We are called to be salt and light, not watered down. I have preached the gospel to thousands of people - men of God, you go and do likewise - God has called us to be fishers of men.

Matthew:5:13: Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

M't:5:14: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

M't:5:15: Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

M't:5:16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The Devil wrongly uses Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego as an example of pagan education:

1. Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were in exile not on holiday.

2. Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were not young children. Although they are called Ďthe children of Israelí this is a term applied in scripture to the people of God. In chapter 1v 4, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were already skilful in all wisdom and cunning in knowledge and understanding science before they ever arrived in Babylon. This they had received from a godly upbringing as is clear in their deep love for God. Most of Israel had rebelled against God and many had been slaughtered in Israel, but God preserved Daniel and his friends.

3. The work God gave them to do was to uphold the truth and glorify His name at all times, whatever the cost; all of them laid their necks on the line in their obedience to God: Daniel (the lions den), Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah (the fire).

To try and marry their lives up with sending a toddler or child to school does not hold water. We have been commanded by God to train up a child in the way he should go; not turn them over to the Devil. Satan rarely appears as the Devil, he often appears as an angel of light to deceive.

Luke:8:7: And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.

Luke:8:14: And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

(Matthew 13, Mark 4)

Luke 8 v 7 / 14 is a summary by our Lord Jesus of the lukewarm church of Revelation 3. I praise God that because of the Great Tribulation (the hour of temptation - Rev. 3v 10), many of these cares, riches and pleasures will be stripped away from the lukewarm church giving them great opportunity to avoid being further deceived and to start bearing good fruit.

John:15:1: I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Joh:15:2: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Joh:15:3: Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Joh:15:4: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Joh:15:5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Joh:15:6: If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Joh:15:7: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Joh:15:8: Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Joh:15:9: As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

Joh:15:10: If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Matthew:7:13b broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew:7:14: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew:7:15: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

M't:7:16: Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

M't:7:17: Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

M't:7:18: A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

M't:7:19: Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

M't:7:20: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Luke:18:18: And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

Lu:18:19: And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Lu:18:20: Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

Lu:18:21: And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

Lu:18:22: Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

Lu:18:23: And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

Lu:18:24: And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Lu:18:25: For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Luke:6:24: But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

Lu:6:25: Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

Lu:6:26: Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Luke:16:13: No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Lu:16:14: And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

Lu:16:15: And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

1Timothy:6:6: But godliness with contentment is great gain.

1Tm:6:7: For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

1Tm:6:8: And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

1Tm:6:9: But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

1Tm:6:10: For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

1Tm:6:11: But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

1Tm:6:12a: Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life,

Mark:8:34b: Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

M'r:8:35: For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

M'r:8:36: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

M'r:8:37: Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

M'r:8:38: Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Luke:21:34: And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Lu:21:35: For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Surfeiting means excess of food or drink; overindulgence.

Many of Godís people are guilty of spending more time in their food than in Godís Word. We need spiritual food far more than we need physical food. If we can not grasp this, we will not be ready for Judgment. Follow the pattern of Godís Word e.g.  Exodus 16v 11-15, 1 Kings 17v 1-6.

Romans:16:17: Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Ro:16:18: For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Philippians:3:17: Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Ph'p:3:18: (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Ph'p:3:19: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Ph'p:3:20: For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Ph'p:3:21: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

THE ARM OF FLESH - 2Chronicles 16 v 7 - 13:

2Chronicles 16 v 12-13: And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians. And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.

Do not run to the doctor or the hospital. Go to God.

James:5:14: Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

Jas:5:15: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Mark:16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

M'r:16:16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

M'r:16:17: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

M'r:16:18: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

1Timothy:2:15: Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Matthew:6:31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

M't:6:32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

M't:6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

M't:6:34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Godís miraculous power at work moment by moment can be seen in all creation, why canít Godís people trust God to heal. God has healed me many times, and has delivered me from death more than 5 times. I could easily write a book on just the miraculous works of God in my life. God heals and delivers today and God expects His people to trust Him.

God commanded us to go into all the world and preach the gospel and these signs and wonders would follow. The early church did not go around building hospitals and training doctors etc. They obeyed the Great Commission and they saw the sick healed and the dead raised to life - no need for hospitals and doctors.

Today it is evidently clear that doctors/hospitals etc. are under the Judgment of God. There is much blood on their hands and Godís wrath will be poured out.

1. Abortion - The murder of millions of babies.

Doctors also prescribe contraception which actually in many cases kills the tiny forming baby, and also disobeys the command of God to be fruitful and multiply and disregards the teaching of Godís Holy Word on the blessing of godly children.

2. Eastern cult practises (witchcraft) e.g. acupuncture, aromatherapy, homeopathy etc. These are the workings of Satan not of God.

3. The pride of man - Instead of praise being given to God for the marvellous way God has created the body, to function and heal; this praise is given to man (doctors). The work of a surgeon which is basically to cut and stitch would be rendered completely useless unless God had made the human body to heal itself.

4. Drugs - Many drugs that are made by pharmaceutical companies are made to make money. If you read about the side effects drugs can have on you, it is amazing anyone takes them. Many of them have long term side effects that only reveal their true poison later e.g. thalidomide.

What God does has no short term or long term side effects, Godís work is perfect. Modern medicine is not of God but is the arm of flesh, the love of money and will ultimately end in death. Trust in God not the arm of flesh.

This does not mean God does not want us to care for people, God does. This can clearly be seen for example in the parable of the ĎGood Samaritaní (Luke 10), who bound up his wounds with oil and wine; or the apostle Paul speaking to Timothy to take a little wine for his often infirmities. But everyone is able to give such care and God has given His people common sense to do this. The Bible never tells us to go to the world for healing, Godís Word tells us to go to the Great Physician Himself, and all who repent and believe will be satisfied (My testimony is living proof of this).

God would never tell you to go to a doctor who has blood on his / her hands (a murderer) and who practises that which is an abomination to God and who does not even know God. They are under Godís Judgment and so are those who go to them. God commands us to come to Him and that means wholeheartedly burning all our bridges behind us.

Doctors are not in charge of life and death as the Devil has deceived many into believing by what he apparently floats on the surface before their eyes.

God alone gives life. God has delivered me more than 5 times from death because it was not His time for me and no doctor could have done anything about it. To him that has faith in God all things are possible in accordance with Godís perfect will; but unbelief and fear kill.

Deuteronomy:32:39: See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

Many of Godís people are sick because of sin - read 1 Corinthians 11v 29-32. The remedy is not medicine but repentance.

Your life is in the hand of Almighty God alone; tell me, what can harm you in life or in death - nothing.

M't:25:21: His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
